The unit was relatively easy to put together

The unit was relatively easy to put together. Study the instructions and you’ll be fine – it took me 1.5 hrs to put together. I bought this because I have 8 foot ceilings and really like the fact that this is adjustable. There definitely is a noticeable oily smell that is diminishing pretty quickly. The bottom legs aren’t perfectly parallel because they angle in a little, but it shouldn’t impact me from using it. Some screws were a little difficult in fitting in the correct spots. The hardware provided was all there. There is a slight wobble for me (at 205 pounds) but it still feels stable. The optimal weight for someone using this is probably up to 160-180 pounds.
I’m 6’7" and 297 pounds and I am very happy I purchased the Ainfox Power Tower.

Dips – When I do dips, there is no rocking or flexing of the Power Tower. It feels really solid. I’ve been trying to find a way to work all three heads of the triceps and those dips deliver such a nice pump. Vertical Knee Raise – The handles are a bit too close to my torso for me to use. When I use the handles, my body is pushed too high for the back cushion to support me. I’ve found a way to modify the exercise so that it works nicely. Pull Up and Chin Up bars – I use the tallest setting for the bar and that lets the chin/pull up bar travel forwards and backwards a little bit but once I put my weight on it, it’s solid. I’m too tall to freely hang from the pull/chin up bar so bending my knees is a must. Assembly – all of the nuts, bolts, and washers come packaged and labeled nicely so that made assembly a lot simpler. The only advice I would give is that you have a socket set on hand for assembly. I’m sure that the included tools allow you to assemble the unit but after using the included tools (the two “wrenches”) on a handful of bolts I realized assembly was going to take hours and I was concerned for my knuckles after a few slips of the wrench.
Great for the money, ideal for someone 160# or less

It was simple to put together- the instructions were great, all the parts were there. Together with my 11 year old son we had it together in about 45 minutes (and we were taking our time). I highly recommend using a socket set to speed putting this together. Don’t tighten the lower bolts (that you assemble in the beginning) until the very end. There is a support in the end that required me to loosen some bolts so that I could line everything up and attach the last support ( not a big deal). It doesn’t teeter and it seems pretty stable. This is not a very heavy power tower, but it does feel pretty well made. I think for anyone up to 160# it would be fine. I think it could support heavier people but since the tower itself doesn’t weigh much – it would seem like it may rock a bit with heavier people. I primarily bought it for my kids, so the fact it’s adjustable and easy to move makes it perfect. Remember this is not a $1000 piece of gym equipment, but for what it is, it’s well made and easy to put together.
Nice sturdy space saving unit

Nice and sturdy unit. Works good for what I need. I like the front facing pull up bar because it saves space and can be pushed up against the wall. Also I’m 6’4″ and it has adjustable height that fits me. Many of the other units were too short. Only reason for not giving 5 is because there were some scratches on it and evidence it had been put together before.
Look no further!

Excellent power tower for the money! I’m a heavy guy at just under 240lbs and this unit has been steady. The only thing for me, being so heavy, is it’s just a little wobbly when doing dips, so what I did was place a shelf of weights (kettlebells) on the rear to reinforce stability. I have been using it for about a month and had no problems so far. I highly recommend purchasing this if you are looking for a great power tower for a price that’s hard to beat! When assembling, it really helps to have your own tools on hand. It takes about an hour to assemble.
Does the job

Does the job, but I’m not so sure about its 500lb advertised capacity, hence the 4 star rating. My husband is 220lbs and he cranked out 25 reps on it, and it was flexing and wobbly in the dip position. I’m 140 lbs and it works fine for me. Also has a terrible odor to it when coming out of the package! But for the money, I think it will do fine. It’s made in China FYI.
Love it.This product is as solid as it looks and then some. Very impressed with the overall quality.

Very well built

Arrived today, packed very well, each piece protected, easy to put together with good instructions – just wait until the end to tighten, it is very snug fit. Took about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. I’m about 240, I jumped on it, it is really study, no noise or anything. I’m probably going to anchor it to the wall just to be safe but highly recommend thus far based on the quality and sturdiest.
