If you decide to buy, make sure not to allow them to be exposed to sunshine or excess heat. Or, look for a short swimmer

Fit my size 13.5 feet well. (size xxl) Construction is excellent. I have been swimming (with fins) since 1948. These light, soft, fins

Great fins!

This is my third pair of these fins (yes, I wear them out). They do hold up very well, I just swim 5 – 6 days a week, and use them for about 1/2 of each workout. I don’t recall the last time I bought them, but I would say they lasted at least a year, probably more! In fact, I’m still using the old ones (that have a small hole in the toe) for open water swimming.

Sizing is Correct but there is a trick

Ultra light, nice propulsion, beautiful design. About the sizing and foot cramping issues noted in other reviews, here is my bottom line: the sizing is correct. I wear a women’s size 9 and the small is the right size. The small size is snug in the ankle and I had some foot cramping, so I bought the medium to compare. My foot swam around in the medium. Here is what I found as the remedy: I put the fins on in the shallow end of the pool and scoot my feet as far into the fin as possible, using the pool floor for leverage. Then I put on the strap and scoot my feet in further still, putting one finned foot on top of the other. Even though the strap is still a snug fit, my feet feel fine while swimming and do not cramp when using this method. I tried on a pair of smalls that the owner had worn for a long time and the strap had stretched out to a more comfortable fit over time.

Nice Lightweight Swim Fins

These fins are so lightweight you can pack them into your suitcase with very little problem and additional weight.

Good value, perfect fit, provide strong resistance and fast movement

They are terrific – good value. Mos importantly for me – they fit perfectly. When I first got them I rubbed coconut oil on the interior, which helped, because they’re really tight and hard to get into until you’ve used them a few times. Be sure to put them in water before putting them on later. Now they’re easy to put on. I use them for strong resistance to tone and build muscles, and they work really well. I also move really quickly in the water wearing them.

Great fins!

I swim in Seattle and noticed a lot of people using these fins the past few years. After testing them out I finally decided to get my own pair, figuring these would not only be great during practice, but for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. The fins are incredibly lightweight and flexible, and I definitely prefer these over Zoomers or regular fins. I barely notice they’re in my gear bag, unlike the Makapuus that my boyfriend lugs around. I wear a women’s size 8 and was torn between ordering an XS or S, but decided to get the Small. I was worried that they would be too big, but they fit just fine. I guess the XS probably would have been too snug, especially since these are close toed unlike other fins or Zoomers. I feel like the Aqua Sphere is shaped to correct your kick, but you can also get moving pretty quickly with them. They’re great for kick sets, your legs will be more buoyant swimming with them. I used them for snorkeling and found that they aren’t as propulsive as regular fins but I mostly swam around instead anyway. Overall, this is a good fin for beginner swimmers to much higher skill levels, and I definitely recommend them. The only dilemma is deciding which size to order if you’re in between.
