I have never had a fitbit or anything like it, but my friend came to me, one day all excited about her new fitbit, so I decided to get one, that very day. My fitbit flex 2 arrived last night. The fitbit flex comes with 2 decent plastic bands, a small and a large. I chose the small, to wear, which is a pretty good size. I downloaded the app on my I phone 5. I charged the battery and I attempted to sync the fitbit to my phone. The fitbit did not sync immediately, but as soon as I turned my blue tooth off and on, the fitbit synced rather quickly to my phone. I put the fitbit on my wrist. It is quite comfortable, but a little sweaty, once you really start moving. I am an overweight person, and I have not exercised in quite some time. I have to say, I was extremely motivated today, I was excited and determined to go from 0 to 10,000 steps. I was over the moon, when I reached my goal. The fitbit dashboard on my phone, is amazing, it tells you your steps, food intake, calories burned, water intake, sleep activity etc. I am anxious to see my sleep recordings in the morning, over all I am happy with my new toy. Hopefully this will give me the push, I need in 2017 to make some better lifestyle changes.
Great all-around device!

This was my first Fitbit device, and I am very pleased with its performance. I had debated getting the Flex 2 or the Alta, but chose the Flex 2 for its slim profile, waterproof design, and lower price point. I have yet to incur water damage, and the five-light design is very minimalist yet informative.

I LOVE this band! I had the Fitbit One (clip) for 3 years….its been washed, went swimming, left in dressing rooms, you name it. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t lose it sooner. While I loved the simplicity of the One, when I finally lost it the Flex 2 is the same price so I figured I’d try to make the switch…..I was nervous about a wrist tracker from stories about grossly inaccurate step counts. I have a very small wrist and found this to be thinner on my wrist than my Michael Kors watch. It is extremely lightweight, and simple. If you are “gadgety” and want more of a watch function, this won’t be it for you. All it does is with 2 quick taps shows your progress on the buttons during the day. It will vibrate with calls and texts, and can remind you to move your 250 steps an hour. It has done a good job with sleep tracking, and I must say is pretty accurate with the step count.
So thin and descreet! Love it

Love this fitbit! So thin! I wear it alongside my 38 mm apple watch and it is awesome. Doesn’t look weird, just like having a thin, descreet bracelet. Highly recommend. Love my apple watch, but will never leave fitbit because of the challenges and how well the app works for my gps workouts!

Delivery was quick and product is as described on Amazon. Amazon gets 5 stars, Fitbit Flex 2, gets 4 stars. I upgraded from a Fitbit Charge to this model. The Fitbit Flex 2 does not measure number of flights of steps climbed. You need to sync it to your smart phone to be able to see your numbers, and the battery life is not shown on the smart phone app. This is a challenge at times, as I may go to sleep, and it stops tracking my sleep quality because the battery is dead. I wish they would upgrade the app to include battery life remaining. Also I purchased the silver bangle bracelet from Fitbit (it was on back order on Amazon). After wearing it for just 8 days, the hinge broke and fell into my lap in two pieces. I called Fitbit and after emailing them a picture of the broken bracelet, they sent me a new bracelet. They didn’t want the broken one back. Seems they may be having problems with the style of the bracelet.
My phone is never far away so its super easy. This is a basic tracker

I had a Fitbit Flex 1 for a couple of years before it finally wouldn’t take a charge anymore. It met my need for a basic fitness tracker so I replaced it with the Flex 2. It has all the features I’d come to expect and appreciate with the Flex 1. I mainly use the Fitbit app on my Galaxy smartphone to interact with the tracker. My phone is never far away so its super easy. This is a basic tracker. There are lots of neat features on more advanced Fitbits if you want or need them. For me this does what I need and I like it. Fully charged I seem to get about 3 – 4 days before it sends me a low warning email. A quick charge during some TV watching or time with a good book will top things off battery-wise. If you’re looking for a basic fitness tracker, it’s a great choice.
Love it just a little upset

I was really excited to get this for my birthday. I was upset when I found out it doesn’t track flights of stairs. I haven’t tried it out in the water yet I’m a little nervous it will get ruined because I have terrible luck. The clasps were so hard to switch between small and large bands. Honestly I think they should leave it in the large because I’ve never seen someone wear a small. Since my wrist isn’t to big but isn’t small enough to fit in a small, the extra clasp holes just move around and hang on my wrist which looks ridiculous. Maybe if they had a loop to hold the extra material in place it would look better. I have problems with getting it to sync to my phone at times. I know its not the phone alone because I have tried to do it with friends phones when theirs work perfectly. Most of the time it goes off saying I have a call but it was over an hour ago. At times fitbit.com has the updated information when the app does not which is a real bummer. I enjoy the challenges just got one a few minutes ago and it said I received it January 1st 1970. I have no clue what happened there at all!

I’m lazy, and it shows in my latest lab results from my doctor. I doubt I’ll ever be one to so any strenuous exercise, but I’ve got to step up the activity a little, or I’m headed to an early death. I figure if I can actually see my activity levels, it might be easier to push myself a little further when walking my dog or choosing between the elevator and the stairs. So far, that’s exactly what’s happening.
