Fitness Reality 810XLT Review: awesome rack for home gym!
Bottom line: The Fitness Reality 810XLT rack is an unbelievable value. (I purchased it for only $169). It is rated for 800 lbs, has good space, does not need to be bolted down and is also very stable. The 800 lbs capacity is plenty for most people of all ages who want to do strength training. For reference, using the calculator on strengthlevel, if you could squat 300 lb you would be squatting more than 65% of men ages 24-39 who strength train. You don’t need more than this rack for a home gym.
Very sturdy – great price
FYI: Look up the Ironman 810XLT rack- it is the exact same model with more reviews.
Best Value Hands Down
Ridiculously good for the price! I did a ton of research shopping literally everywhere you can think of and nothing even came close to the value in this rack/ bench combo. It does exactly what it says it will do. On top of that this companies customer service is over the top good as well. One small piece of plastic came broken in the box (most likely the shipping companies fault). I sent them a pic as well as proof of purchase and they shipped a replacement piece the same day at 0 charge.
Sturdy and the pull up bar is solid
Quality rack… Sturdy and the pull up bar is solid…I bought two other accessories which fit perfect!
What a great product this is
Great Power Rack for anyone!
Let me start off with this power rack is a tremendous value. It’s highly unlikely you’ll find a a better deal for a rack styled like this. Building the rack took about 2-3 hours taking my good old time making sure everything was nice and tight. If you choose to get the Bench with it which I highly recommend that’ll take about 30 mins max to build. Now for the actual review of the rack itself. This power rack is designed wonderfully having safety bar holes every 2 inches! It’ll properly save anyone’s live in a failure moment as long as you have your safety bars in the proper holes for your body and exercise your doing. This rack is extremely solid and it’ll hold up any weight basically desired for power lifting! If your into pull-ups the attached pull-up bar is strong as well. It also gives you a nice distance from the ground and the bar itself as I’ve seen some racks have pull-up bars but it’s to short. All in all I’d recommend this Rack to anyone who is trying to start building muscle and weightlifting heavy. It’ll especially save your life when your working out alone! I will say for squats it is a little tight inside but still very manageable to do them inside. Also for anyone who is wondering if a regular standard bar would work on this the answer is no. You’ll have to get an Olympic or a rare Standard 7 ft bar. I have a 6 ft bar and it fits very tight but weights will hit the safety bars on squats and re racking is awful as it has to be re racked perfect because of the closeness of the weights. So 7 ft bar required just to give you some extra room for racking and proper form on exercises. Needless to say the bench isn’t amazing but it’s a quality bench with numerous positions with a good weight limit! Thanks if anyone has any specific questions or concerns I’d be willing to answer them! Hope this helps anyone considering or on the edge of buying this rack!
Great product! I was fortunate to get this near …
Great product! I was fortunate to get this near $155 (including shipping) and is probably still a good value at the current price $300. Anyway it came properly packaged and protected to my front porch. Assembly was straight forward and took around 1.5 hours. Seems sturdy for me but I don’t push alotta plates around. My only criticism is the barbell holder pins are low quality and a little loose. To be expected at this price point…
Great Rack for a great price!
Let me start by saying I’m no where near maxing out this bar in terms of weight. If you’re doing 400lbs+ on this thing, disregard my review.
You can make this happen
I’m not going to review this as a squat cage, because there are enough reviews here to tell you that it is sturdy and will hold weights and has the proper dimensions to do exercises in. Also, I am not an expert at weights. What I will answer in this review is, can you assemble this thing, and how?
