I love this machine! Easy in your whole body but gets you moving and burning calories! My pictures say it all!

Like everyone else, I was disappointed at the lack of resistance so I simply added a couple of bungee cords to the handles–you can slide them up for less resistance or down for more. SEE CUSTOMER IMAGE for a picture.

I’ve just received my Gazelle Edge last week. I like using it and the computer seems to be comparable with distance and calories burned when using a gym-quality elliptical (where you can program your age and weight).
GREAT EXERCISE AND NOT TOO LARGE

This was ordered December 25, 2013; delivered December 30; it was assembled and I started using beginning January 3, 2014.
Would buy again.

It squeaks and creaks, was delivered 3 days ago and I am down 5 pounds with 1 hour of moderate to high intensity work out. Binging on game of thrones at the moment, the noise doesn’t interfere with the tv and I don’t have to crank up the volume. I will keep using it because it is just that easy. I am 229 pounds at the moment, am lazy as can be, and I don’t want to run it over with a truck, so there’s that. Don’t expect gym quality equipment, and you’ll be fine, it works as promised. If it breaks, I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it. I am using it and the rest of the family is too. I am considering buying another one. If you have numb feet or knee pain, watch the video that is included. There is an assembly video on YouTube, took 15 minutes-ish to assemble.
Fun way to exercise

I’ve only been using this for 5 days, but it’s the most fun piece of exercise equipment I’ve ever used. Easy to put together (watch out for the grease on the middle bar!!),working by myself I had it assembled within an hour with very little effort. It can range from a very easy workout to a very intense workout depending on the length of your stride and how much you lean forward/backward. I don’t have much upper body strength, and leaning forward on this thing really works my arms and shoulders. I feel like it gives a great total body workout. It’s easy to fold up and move, so I can just keep it in the living room, tucked into a corner. Came nicely packaged, no damage. Though I did get a chuckle when I got the notification and saw that it had been ‘left in the mailbox’. Thankfully my mailman didn’t actually try that- he left it on the doorstep.
HAPPY SO FAR!!

Just got it delivered today and it looks like everything was in the box. It took my boyfriend about a 1/2 hr or less to put it together and wasn’t difficult. I was happy to see the Gazelle seems sturdy and durable.

Ive had this gazelle for over 3 months now and I’m really enjoying it. I used to have one like this from another brand a few years back and it helped me lose weight in combination with a doctor’s diet. Im really lazy when it comes to working out but when i started the diet my doctor said that i had to work out 30 min 5 times a week so I used an elliptical similar to this one. That one was old ad it broke after 7 months of use. So now since i started eating healthy again i decided to buy what worked for me the first time. I’m 140 lb and i want t be 128-130 lb so I’ve been using it 4-5 times a week for 30-40 min and i have to say that mine hasn’t made any funny noises like other reviewers say, at least not yet. Its really good, i like that it shows me the time, miles, calories, velocity.
It actually gets used!

I’m giving this 5 stars because this glider suits my needs perfectly. I was looking for a low intensity aerobic machine I could use when it was raining (instead of walking), and which I could use during otherwise sedentary activities like watching movies/tv or talking on the phone.
Very low impact and no bra needed either

So is this Gazelle thing really working? I wouldn’t know because I don’t do it consistently enough (like every day) but I’ve been getting on it about 2 to 3 times per week for about a half hour each time. I bought it because I sit all day at a desk job and know that I need to get my heart rate up if I don’t want to die a young death. I was also looking for a piece of exercise equipment that I could keep in my living room that wouldn’t take up too much space, that I could take out and use while I watch episodes of Mozart in the Jungle (fabulous, btw) or one of the free movies on Amazon Prime. I leave it folded up in the corner leaned up against the wall, and it’s a little awkward and heavy to drag out, but I’m not moving it that far. I haven’t used it to hang clothes on yet which is a really good sign. Once I’m on the Gazelle, I feel like I can go on forever. It’s very low impact and I don’t even need to wear a bra while I exercise on it. You aren’t bouncing up and down with everything jiggling around which I like. My arms even feel like they are getting a work out, although after being on it for a half hour, I actually get off it and want to do some deep knee bends or squats, or do some running in place raising my knees up as high as I can. So if you’re a middle aged person that doesn’t want to do high impact anything for fear of hurting themselves, I would definitely recommend this to get your heart rate going.
