Love these! Be wary of the size chart..
I love these shoes! They’re very well built and support my feet perfectly. I do a lot of indoor spinning, so they work well.
Perfect Quality, Support, Price
Fits as expected with the caveat that spin shoes ALWAYS run small. I wear a women’s 9.5/10 and bought both a 42 and 43. The 43’s are spot on. 42’s going back. For reference, my foot is medium width, with a high instep. First time wearing this brand – usually stick with Shimano. Terrific supportive sole. SPD’s went on without trouble. Appreciate that the bottoms are not slippery and you can walk around in these shoes. Slight rocker effect countermands the stiff bottom when you are walking. Easier to clip in than my last pair. I am buying another as back up ; these are that good
I FINALLY invested in some cycling shoes after a year of attending an indoor cycling class. I used to experience constant cramps in my feet that were incredibly painful. Now I can ride the entire time without having to stop and stretch out my feet. I finally don’t have to deal with days of achy feet after one cycle class!!
… them for bike-commuting on platform pedals and am very happy so far
Bought them for bike-commuting on platform pedals and am very happy so far. Comfortable enough to wear for hours, in part due to the right amount of stiffness for me (though they do need an insole beyond the provided placeholder – I’m using Specialized green footbeds). I ordered one size larger than I normally wear – perfect choice. (p.s. I wear a women’s size 10/Euro 42, but bought these in 43 to allow for thicker socks. This was the right choice.)
I’m quite pleased so far
The shoes are quite comfortable, very neat looking not clunky like some I’ve seen. I had to return my first pair as they were too exact on my big toe. I’m a US 8 and I ordered size 40, I had to re purchase size 41, the entire return, refund and repurchase all went extremely smooth and she’s arrived in lightening speed. I’ve only worn them once so far.
Great commuting shoes!
Great bike shoes for commuting. As other reviewers have mentioned, the size chart is not to be trusted. I wear a women’s size 9 or 9.5 and in these shoes the EU 42 size fits perfectly, though typically I am a size 41 in EU sizes. These are not the most comfortable shoes I own, but they look classy and not like all of my other bike shoes so that is pretty awesome! Oh and keep in mind the large mesh panel above the toe box – your toes will get chilly biking around so wear some warm socks.
Cool looking and a bit of a tight fit
These shoes are cool looking, at least in the world of cycling shoes! I bought them for my spin classes (only) and love that I can walk through the gym without wobbling around. I am a size 7.5-8 in most shoes. I bought the size 40 and found they are a bit snug…not enough to return, but they seem to be more narrow in the toe box and top of the foot. They are harder, which seems the norm, so I will need to add softer insoles. These are my first cycling shoes, so I am admittedly naive, but I can see myself being happy with these for class for several hundred miles 🙂
Great shoe once you get the fit right.
I wear 8.5 in women’s athletic shoes (asics, Adidas, etc) and the 42’s in this shoe fit great: wiggle room for toes without any heal slide. (I returned the 41’s as they fit on my foot, but toes were just touching the front). Out of the box, I wore around the house for about 4 hours and felt a bit of a hot spot on top of one foot: that was fixed by simply loosening the laces a bit on that side. The next morning I did 40 road miles and shoes felt great the entire time. My feet are on the narrow side, and these do seem to run narrow. They look great, appear to be quite well made, and feel light and breathable.
