Great weights, love ability to adjust, just a few tweaks to design would make it perfect.
I am torn between rating this 4 or 5 stars. Compared to other ankle weights, these have a lot of positives. I like to wear these when walking and hiking. I love the fact I can adjust the weight in 1/2 pound increments. My other 5 pound weights are very thick bags of sand that dig into my ankle and do not stay tight when jogging. However, the metal bars do dig into my leg. I can minimize this if I wear thick hiking socks and double them over. So improvement #1 would be to simply round the edges of the weights so there is not a sharp edge. The other issue is I use these when exercising – like leg lifts. If I raise my leg past horizontal, the bars start to slide out. So improvement #2 would be to make the bars a little thicker and shorter and have some velcro at the top of each pouch. So when you slide a weight in you can push the pouch closed. These two changes would make it perfect. Wish I could rate it 4.5 stars. I am still happy with purchase. Photo shows how the weights start to slide out and how the sharp edges can dig into your leg.
These puppies do the job.
This is a well made and highly functional set of ankle weights. I am using them to rehab a knee injury, and have found them to be more that satisfactory. The one and only caution I would offer is to be sure to wear them with the openings for the weights pointing up. The first time I used them the weights were sliding out of their pockets onto the floor. The ability to slowly increase the weight is a great feature.
WEIGHT WRAPS ARE COMFORTABLE
I absolutely love this pair of Weight Wraps because they are comfortable and really soft against the skin when they are worn on the wrists or ankles. These Weight Wraps are a great choice that will improve the workout of every part of the arms and legs providing great results. I would certainly recommend.
Adjustable and Good Quality.
Love that you can adjust the weight by taking out the little rods! They rods do kind of dig into your ankles a bit, though… wish it had a little Velcro flap over the top. But the fabric seems durable after using them for over a couple of months now. Definitely a great option for those not wanting to be limited to the 1, 2 or 5 lb ankle weights.

Shipped on time and nicely packaged. They work great (I’ve only used them on my ankles) and I only wish I had ordered them years ago. They have to be adjusted a little for comfort, so I wear thick crew socks and usually by the second or third try I’ve got a comfortable fit. They’re well put together and the velcro holds securely. No problems; highly recommend.
Good set to go heavy & adjust easily
These are good ankle weights and easily adjustable. And they’re the heaviest adjustable set I found. As some other commenters mentioned, the metal weight segments can dig into the ankles if they’re used during most activities (like waking). That is a negative. But I wear old school athletic socks and fold them over themselves before putting on the weights, to act as a padded buffer between my ankle and the weights. And the weight segments don’t dig into my ankles when I’m using them for isometric floor exercises, even without the extra padding of athletic socks. The Velcro fastens easily and is super easy to remove.
durable weights that are perfect for ankle weights
These are very solid, durable weights that are perfect for ankle weights. However, they are not very good as wrist weights as they don’t secure tightly and do not have a good mechanism to easily lock them in place on your arms.
These weights are versatile, comfortable to wear and do all that I need.
After four months of Physical Therapy, they allow me to easily continue the necesary exercises. Love that any weight configuation up to five pounds is easy to accomplish.
