Just got this and have used it a few times over the last day or so. So, these are first impressions. Seems to be made of a heavy duty plastic and the spring is a good size. I was able to figure out quickly from the instructions how to change the settings and to secure the spring in place using the tightening wheel. Not difficult at all. I like the fact that this is adjustable and you don’t have to buy a separate set of grips for every resistance level. Nice. I’m recovering right now from a car accident and an illness which has left me totally deconditioned and I know grip strength is a major component of strength recovery. I’m at the lowest setting right now and am doing some isometric work with this. Mildly challenging and feel I’ll probably be able to move up to the next setting soon.

this product works just as well for adding on additional strength in an easy and convenient way

I have put on a lot of muscle recently in my chest and arms and was looking for a convenient way to workout my forearms as well. Being a college student and juggling school, work, and friends I find it near impossible to devote a workout day to my forearms (and “arm day” just wasn’t covering it). Luckily this is exactly what I needed. While many people use grip strengtheners to rebuild strength after injury or surgery, this product works just as well for adding on additional strength in an easy and convenient way. I find it very easy to use this product when watching t.v, reading, or just lying in bed and it certainly works, and I can see the difference in my arms after using it for awhile. Additionally the multiple weight resistance is great since you can slowly build up your strength if you just started exercising. Lastly while the product was slightly pricey it came from a small business so that’s understandable and the product still works great through many uses. Overall I’m quite pleased and would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to increase their forearm/grip strength regardless of age, gender, or fitness level.

Great product.

When I first received this product, it was slightly confusing to use. Changing the resistance settings without reading the instructions did make it a little confusing, but the instructions are crystal clear. And it is quite easy to change the resistance settings. The product is very nicely designed. In the photo I posted above you can see another hand gripper I have. This is the one I’ve been using for around 6-7 years and its very nicely designed. It design also makes it easy to grip it comfortably. When I received the Flawless Fitness Hand Grip Strengthener, I had difficult gripping it comfortably at higher resistance settings, and my hand would often slip out. I would think that this is a design flaw but than I noticed my hand would not slip off at lower resistance settings. It’s likely that this is due to the my forearms not strong enough to handle the higher resistance.

I wanted to be able to impress my lady and increase my volume of jars opened around the house, so I purchased this Hand Grip Strengthener- Now those jars don’t have a chance and neither does my girl after she sees me twist and pop open jars for her left and right.

Your grip strengthener definitely stands out from the competition. Other models where the spring isn’t supported, tend to snap within 30 days of use. First impression of yours, very good feel. Directions were a little confusing so not “Easily Adjustable”, but after reading the directions a second time, I was able to understand the adjusting. I think that maybe a (+/-) could be etched or paint marked one each side of dial and (22,37,55,70) next to each position. Also, when I originally read product description and it stated ADJUSTABLE, I assumed it was like other models where it can be adjusted to any strength between 20-90lbs, not just 4 strengths. The handles also claim they’re anti-slip, but when I went walking & jogging with it, I had to adjust my grip constantly, maybe a foam cover or knurl finish where the handles touch the palm & fingertips may increase anti-slip. I could also feel a little give on the handle with holes, like the handle was going to split in half down the seam. Last, your packaging shows the item as Black Handle w/ Orange Dial and Orange Adjustment Handle, but the item is Orange Handle w/ Black Dial and Black Adjustment Handle. I’m not picky, but the photo on the packaging looks more visually appealing. One more suggestion, other models usually include grip variations to isolate specific fingers. You might want to add to your direction insert and/or website. I’ll be recommending this model to my coworkers in the restaurant industry who often complain of carpal tunnel and high blood pressure and inactivity/no motivation to exercise after work.

Finally a hand grip strengthener that works…

I need to strengthen my hand grip for pistol shooting competitions and I have tried a few strengtheners in the past but did not seem to feel the difference and I always had the feeling that these devices are not working for me. Last time I bought one was from a local sports store and it even said in the package that it is suitable for handgun grip strengthening. That one has separate springs for every finger but I found myself pressing it 100 times without really feeling fatigued much and I was just stopping the reps because I was getting bored of counting. This popped as a suggested item while I was browsing for something else in Amazon and I wanted to give it a try because it has adjustable resistance.

convenient because it’s adjustable

I really like these grip strengtheners, especially the ease at which you can change the tensioner. As I am a woman of a certain age, I noticed that my ability lacking in the little things we take for granted: opening jars, tightening screws, and making adjustments to just about anything involving a good grip. When I first got these, I started on level 1 (it’s about 22 lbs, I think). It was too easy because I could do 100 squeezes on each hand by switching hands every 20-25 counts. I am now doing about 2t-45 repetitions (split into groups of 10) at level 2 (about 37 lbs). This grip goes to about 75 lbs– doubt I’ll ever get there but don’t need to. All I want to achieve is a better grip than the lack luster one I had previously. I gave this 4 starts because the plastic handle is too slick. It would be perfect if it had some type of silicone wrap or finger indentions that would allow a better “grip on the grip”. I fixed the problem buy wrapping a grippy hair elastic band around the handle (orange side). It works.

I just love it and you will too

So I work at a sales call center 8 to 10 hrs a day sitten on a desk and needed to have something to release stress while I’m not actually typing any information on the computer and thus I decided to try this product and I am simply amazed at how soon it has become my favorite new toy. The fact that the intensity can be adjusted makes it great because I keep it at medium intensity throughout the day but when I want to really challenge myself I crank it up and then when my forearms are a bit sore I take it down to the least intense stage until I feel I am ready to take it back to the medium intensity (trust me if you do it everyday through your shift you will eventually feel the burn too). On top of that it has also become a great conversation topic in the office. The finish is a little rough but just not on the grips qhere is where it matters, after all I did not get it to decorate my cubicle and the delivery was quite fast so I really have nothing negative to say about the product or the company but this is just my experience so give it a go and the you tell me.

Well-made, needs easier settings for small framed girls

This is a well made product, good quality. Being a small-framed woman, the easiest setting is a little too difficult for me. I had hoped there would be an easier setting so that I could gradually build up strength. My main purpose for this purchase was the research behind using hand grips to lower blood pressure. It requires a 2-minute hold, but two minutes on the easiest setting is too much for me. There should be a couple of extra settings on this so that people can work their way up to a greater strength. As a modification, I am holding the grips partially engaged instead of fully engaged. I don’t know if this will give me the same benefits.

Great exercise for fingers, grip and forearms!

When I ordered this product I wanted to exercise my forearm. This is exactly what I got. Firstly, the colors between the picture and product are actually switched. It has different levels of strength so adjust accordingly. The first level is 22 lbs, second is 37 lbs, the third 55 and the fourth is 70 lbs. I have only used the first two but I have noticed an increase in strength after a while. At first, it put work into my fingers. I did not know my fingers were that weak! But after a while, you’ll notice it on the grip and forearms. It’s just what I wanted. Highly recommend it! Also, the size was just right.
