The exercise classic that's being rediscovered! Indian clubs are finding favor with martial artists, swimmers, baseball players, golfers and more. Shoulder strength, flexibility and mobility Exercise clubs build relaxed shoulder strength, conditioning the soft tissues through a wide range of motion to support athletics, weightlifting or everyday life. Shoulder pain? Back Pain? Gone

Indian clubs can help release and mobilize tight shoulders and teach proper movement patterns. Nagging pain, sometimes years old, can disappear, never to return. Core strength We hear a lot about the core these days, but the swinging movements of exercise clubs require you to both produce and resist rotation – the most neglected element of core training. Watch your waist get firm!

Cardio, The reaction against the tyranny of the treadmill has seen a lot of us opt for high-intensity training for our cardio. But the aerobic energy system needs to be conditioned too, and Indian clubs are an ideal way to do that while reaping many other benefits. Coordination From athletes to people who just want everyday life to be easier, most of us stand to benefit from better coordination, better movement patterns as you progress with your exercise clubs you'll find your coordination improves, your body feels and moves better. Picking up new movements faster and getting better at the old ones can add pounds to your lifts, yards to your golf swing, or hours to your playtime with the kids.

We offer 1lb, 16 ½ inch clubs and the slightly larger 2lb, 18 ½ inch clubs. No matter your strength, we recommend starting with the lighter clubs. You'll be surprised at the challenge! Indian clubs are a revolutionary new take on an ancient classic. Wood splits, metal rusts. Our clubs are made from injection-molded reinforced polypropylene. They'll stand up all conditions and give years of effective training.

A century ago, Indian clubs were all the rage, featuring prominently in military physical training, and lining the walls of gymnasiums across the globe. Then, like many practices that should, in rational terms, have some enduring value, people just got bored with them and they went out of fashion. As decades passed and we’ve gotten bored with other fitness practices, there’s been a big resurgence of interest in Indian clubs that coincided with the return of kettlebells to the West about 15 years ago. Athletes and ordinary people are again puffing away at home and in the gym, whirling these archaic tools around in intricate patterns.

TL;DR – The clubs are great, though not the prettiest. The DVD has good information, but is lacking an exercise routine.

Excellent. Product came on time. I recommend if you are starting out use these clubs. 1 lb weight which is good, but don’t be fooled they give a good workout. Look on You tube for Indian Club Exercises. I don’t think I will ever need any heavier ones. Start SLOW. I used them to help me recover from sports injuries and now I just use them to keep fit. Injury 1 – Fell on my elbow and slightly sprained it. These help pull the wrist out just a tad so instead of someone pulling out my hand I just did the exercises. Gently. Remember to keep shoulders back. They explain in the youtube videos. It makes a big difference.

Doesn’t Stand Up…

Clubs for the most part are well made and were packed safely. They don’t stand up on the end, which is a fairly basic aspect of indian clubs and steel maces. They are vertical in the picture, further leading you to assume they’ll stand up. The ends on both are noticeably different (one is flatter than the other), so it’s not like they meant it by design.

I’m an echo tech and my job can be very hard on the shoulders. My right shoulder was always a problem as a kid, waking up in pain and unable to fully rotate without pain. I do these every morning for 3-4 minutes and now they feel strong and limber. No pain at work, in bed, or when I pick things up over my head. No need for surgery, these things are lifesavers! Only problem was that I ordered them with the DVD and the DVD did not work. So I went on youtube and learned the exercises there. I bought the 2lb. clubs; I personally would recommend these, not too heavy or too light. I’m also 6ft 240lbs.

Delivered very quickly and just as described. The video is ok. It is very descriptive and he does a thorough job with instruction but he is SO BORING. I certainly learned things from it but i could only go 20 minutes at a time because he was putting me to sleep. The clubs are great though and I’m looking forward to improving my skill with them. I would say it is not necessary to own the DVD because of all the internet resource available but it is certainly nice to have despite the geriatric filming.

I use them to warm up shoulders before lifting. Range of motion in shoulders have improved greatly. Sometimes on rest days, I just do Indian club movements for 20 minutes. Forearms are fatigued and a little bit of a sweat is worked up. Good product

I’ve been using heavier clubs and maces in my workouts and really enjoying the training, so I decided to give the lighter clubs a whirl for ‘active recovery’. Glad to report that the ‘hype’ is true, there are real benefits when consistently using them. As far as quality of the product I’m giving them 5 stars and they also arrived promptly and undamaged. The vendor followed up after the sale with an inquiry as to my satisfaction, so a good experience all around.

Clubs require more patience and practice than anticipated. As an older (50+) athlete intending to use clubs for wrist and shoulder rehab, I’m finding that demos demand quite a bit of coordination. I had expected to find online tutorials, but it may have been more helpful to have purchased clubs with a dvd, insteadl.

These clubs are the perfect cost-effective introduction to the world of Indian clubs.

I have been using these daily, for just a few minutes and can already feel a difference on my shoulders. I purchased the DVD which provides a decent introduction to their use. I purchased both the 1lb and the 2lb clubs. I have some existing shoulder pain, so I am using the smaller ones for now.
