Two great machines in one. Ideal for people who are sitting a good portion of the day. Sitting for long periods of time is not the problem, it's being stationary while standing or sitting that creates problems. The mini elliptical will fit comfortably under a desk and you can get your legs moving while typing, talking on the phone, or reading. Want to turn up the workout while on break, switch into stand up mode, add some arm weights and burn even more calories. Burns up to 300 calories while sitting and even more while standing. Converts easily from stand up to sit down mode. Easy to move with a top handle, a front handle and rear wheels.

Perfect solution for staying active at your desk!
I have tried under-the-desk bicycle pedals and they were always way too distracting to get anything done because you constantly had to make sure you weren’t going to hit the top of your desk. I have also tried treadmill desks and standing desks. It’s nearly impossible to type while walking on a treadmill and standing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I am using this mini elliptical right now as I write this review and it is not hindering my ability to think/type/work one bit! You really can get a good workout, too. I’m using it on a low setting and I am getting that delightful workout burn throughout my legs.
works pretty well as a stand-up stepper
So, I think this was really designed for sitting, but turn to face the other way, and adjust the pedals, and it makes a pretty good standing exerciser. I put on a video and tromp away. I weighed about 285 when I started and it handled my weight well. Took me a little while to get used to balancing on it – used a chair to hold onto at first. Now I’m hands-free, and can work with hand weights as I walk. Great way to add some aerobic exercise if you don’t have a gym and outside isn’t a great option. Oh, the thing is sturdy, and a bit klunky to move around. Not too hard though. It has a handle and little wheels, as you can see in the picture.
A good little machine!!
I’ve had this for a couple of months now and love it! I have mobility problems with a hurting foot, a tricky knee, and CFS, and haven’t been able to do my daily walking. I’ve gained weight because of it and not having any exercise is compounding existing problems. I have a glider but after 10-15 minutes my foot begins to hurt and I have to stop. I have pedaled upwards of 2 hours (light resistance) on it with hardly any discomfort in my foot.
First the good: definitely gives me exercise
I debated between 3 and 4 stars. This will suit my purpose which is to be able to have a way to exercise after dinner if my blood sugar is too high without going outside. I am writing this review from the perspective of a senior that only weighs 108 lbs. First the good: definitely gives me exercise, pretty easy to assemble, I like that it can be used sitting or standing, it is really kind of fun.
Works great but won’t fit under a desk to use
I love this product, but the reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars is that it won’t fit under my desk, either at work or at home. I wish it had been made with desk size in mind. I have an old, wide desk at work too, not the new narrow desks that don’t have any room, so I was very surprised. I took it home & have it in the basement sitting in front of a chair, but not convenient to use often – have to intentionally go use it and have time to sit and do nothing but that. I work 12 hr days sitting at a desk and wanted this to be able to peddle away as I work. It feels great using it and works very smoothly, so I gave it a 4. It would be perfect if it could actually fit under a desk.
small and mighty
works great and fitbit counts your steps on this. It is a little noisy though- too much so if you are in a cubicle. I have my own office and even my neighbors sometimes hear it. smaller than a real elliptical (when i go to the gym afterwards, it feels weird to get on it because the steps are so different. good to leave at the office, a little large and heavy to go back and forth.
