I have fibromyalgia and it has been affecting my fingers, at least I think that’s what it is. My fingers have gone numb and tingly and stiffen up quite often. My doctor recommended I get some type of hand grip strengthener but those just caused me pain. I got this because it was an alternate and I can use it to strengthen my hands without squeezing on something. I’m not sure if it’s going to strengthen my hands in the long run but it does help me work out the kinks.

Wear at base of your fingers, not the tip

Working well one week in. I wear them slid down to the base of my fingers, not at the tip and its a whole finger/hand/forearm workout just to do mundane tasks like type this review. A great way to build cohesive, functional strength. I didn’t realize how much weaker my non dominant hand was until now. Start with just wearing them for time and do simple things like open your hand as wide as possible and then make a fist. Slowly increase the time and complexity of tasks. Wear them as often as you can and is comfortable and you’ll see tremendous strength/dexterity gains and a huge release of tension in no time.

Just got them and tried them out. They are well made. I am sure that at some point they will dry up and break but then again what can be expected for $11? I will buy again when these break. Brian Shaw recommended elastic bands for forearm training on Youtube and that is why I got these. I will try different types or the simple elastic bands later but I am happy with these now. Go ahead and try them.

Quality is fine (not as good as similar items)

I work on a computer most days and found my fingers getting tired by the middle of the day. After searching, I decided to purchase these (as well as one other brand, for comparison). Quality is fine (not as good as similar items), The only reason I gave a 4 Star Rating is that it is not clear as to the resistance-strength of each stretcher (at least I could not identify individual strengths on the individual stretchers – NOTE: The photo of the items indicates individual strengths, so once you remember the colors/strengths, you are fine). These are making a difference with about five minutes use 2-3 times a day. As an added bonus (or coincidence, maybe?), I have had a ganglion cyst (self-diagnosed) on my right wrist. Since using these, the cyst has not been as noticeable. For the price and quality, I would recommend these and would consider purchasing again.

These little finger flexors are just what I need to stretch my fingers before practicing my music. They come in three pairs, each with a different intensity, so you can vary the warmup. Also, very elastic to accommodate different finger sizes.

I got this set mainly for the extension resistance bands, but the whole set has helped me keep my grip strength up when I can’t get to the climbing gym. Forearm and finger strength is always the first thing to go when you aren’t climbing. These are small, and easy to toss into a bag and use anywhere you are. The green is too easy for me, but I switch between the blue and orange depending on which grip I’m working on.

Perfect for strengthening your hand.

We always strengthen our grip, but the extension muscles are overlooked. I love the fact there are varying weights. Having injured my hand, I am using this to rehab the muscles. Slow going so far, but I can tell that it is working.
