Sit in a comfortable chair and get an excellent leg workout. Use it while watching TV, reading a book or on the phone. Use it at work or home. Place the bike on a table top and pedal with your hands to strengthen your arms and shoulders. We use a patented adjustable magnetic resistance system which provides ultra-smooth pedal motion in both the forward and reverse directions. The MagneTrainer has more than three times the resistance range of the other magnetic pedal exercisers on the market. The MagneTrainer is also excellent for physical therapy. MagneTrainers are used in hospitals, physical therapy offices, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and chiropractors offices. The wide resistance range and smooth pedal motion makes it ideal for both physical therapy and healthy exercise. The MagneTrainer is used by many to exercise at work. Most use it when checking emails or on the phone. To use it while typing you will need a tall desk. For most people this will be between 34 and 36 inches. However, you could get by with 33 inches clearance if you move the bike further under the desk and extend your legs. If you have an average sized desk, you should take a look at our DeskCycle. The DeskCycle works with desks as low as 27 inches. The MagneTrainer is quiet and durable. It's made to last for years. It uses more expensive components than the other similar looking bikes. It uses wider 4V belts, heavier duty pulleys and flywheels and the more expensive German flywheel bearings. The wider 15 inch steel base keeps the bike from rocking side to side when you pedal it. The pedals have adjustable Velcro straps to accommodate all foot sizes. There are many optional components available for the MagneTrainer to enhance your workout.

VERY versatile!!

I took a long time looking at the MagneTrainer and other mini bikes as well as the Exerpeutic bikes. I almost purchased the new Exerpeutic 500 until one person answered a question about the MagneTrainer. What we all can do with the MagneTrainer that cannot be done with any exercise bike is push the unit away using as a recumbent, draw in closer sitting in a higher chair using it as a traditional bike, and use it for arm strength. I can sit anywhere and use the MagneTrainer, in any chair, and not be stressed if the seat starts to hurt my tailbone. And when I’m done, it tucks away nicely.

Best Money Spent

I LOVE this cycler. I originally bought it to go under my desk at work as I sat all day with not much exercise. After leaving my desk job for a full time on my feet gig, I started using it while watching tv at home. I absolutely love it. At home or in the office under a desk this thing is great. Best money spent.

Wonderful recovery tool!

I use this as a hand bike for therapy reasons. It has proven to be a great tool in my recovery. I did add on the hand pedals that were offered separately. It is sturdy and doesn’t feel as though it will fall apart on use.

Great purchase not sure why I waited so long.

Arrived on time. No damage to box or equipment. Instructions were simple. I was able to put it together without asking my husband for help. I work long hours and when I get home and sit down in the couch I just start peddling. Whether I’m watching the tv or playing with my phone you can peddle. Before you know it 30 minutes have passed. I strongly suggest this for anyone stuck behind a desk all day. When I’m done peddling I can feel it in my legs. It actually also helped my knee that was starting to stiff up. I also work in an Orthopaedic office and this is the same piece of equipment we use for therapy patients after a knee replacement or shoulder surgery. This can be used on the floor or on your table. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this for personal use. I ordered a second one today for my daughter in college. It’s small enough to not be in the way like a full size exercise bike. Very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely awesome!! Use it everyday

Absolutely awesome!! Use it everyday. Recovering from liver transplant and stroke. I lost almost 40% of my muscle. At 60 it’s not that easy to get muscle back. This has been a major factor in my return to a normal life. I actually use it more for upper body. The range of resistance is excellent. The fact that it can be used in either direction is a definite plus. the timer isn’t anything great but it provides all the information you need. There are accessories for using it for upper body, but I found that I didn’t really need them. Stability can be an issue, especially when using it on floor. I use a piece of foam liner (for tool drawers/ cupboards).

Excellent replacement for recumbent bike after downsizing

I am a senior that bought this to replace a recumbent bike after downsizing to condo. I had to get some accessories to make it work for me but well worth it.

UPDATE

Update over a year now , no complaints , no problems . I use this everyday , I have increased my leg strength which is the reason for buying the magni-trainer It has toned my leg muscles and even my hips thats a plus but at my age it was not my point of goal ( but I won’t complain ) There is more resistance then I need but nice to know I have plenty of it. I use a tall bar stool that gives me a better leg stretch , you could adjust your need by what ever chair or stool you use . It is able to store under my table it is out of my way . Another member of my family loved mine , now he owns one also .

Good quality, easy assembly, quiet, a joy to use.

Perfect. I will have shoulder surgery soon and wanted a way to get exercise without jeopardizing my shoulder. To practice, I use this exerciser every day whenever I watch television and in the evening while winding down I do an hour on the lowest level while watching Better Off Ted or Lie To Me; I get a good 15 to 17 miles at 15 to 20 mph. This will be a good way to burn some calories while my movement is restricted.

Quality equipment, and an idea to keep it from slipping on floors

For the past 3 years, I have been very conscious about avoiding sitting for prolonged periods of time for health reasons. No more sitting at a desk all day. I have beening using a standing desk at work and at home, a treadmill desk along with a FitDesk at home. I bought this 2 years ago thinking I would use this at home while sitting at a desk or on the couch. It didn’t work well for either as the profile was too high to keep my legs from hitting the desk. While pedaling on the couch in a reclined position, this would slip and slide on my wood floor. So I set this aside for the FitDesk.

This thing is very useful. First off I’m a 6’0 guy and I’m …
