I’m very happy with this product

I’m very happy with this product. I’d like to address some of the negative observations in previous reviews. This Home Gym is packaged in 3 cartons, shrink-wrapped and strapped to a pallet – so none of the cartons were torn or dented; all parts were accounted for. Amazon schedules a delivery at the time of purchase to ensure proper handling to your home. The Assembly instructions consist of fairly clear line drawings of the parts, each of which is numbered. There are no written, verbal directions for assembly. For example: It would have helped for the instructions to tell you to thread the cables through the pullys as you assemble them. Also, the drawings for the bully set-up should have been blown up to show greater detail. That said, If you take your time, you will figure it out. For the most part, assembly went very smoothy, my wife and I completed the job in approx. 3 hours. While this is a smaller / less bulky Home gym – It is solid and sturdy. It is a little tight for my shoulders when doing Chest Press but is something I can get used to. I would recommend this to someone looking to tone up basic muscle groups without committing a lot of money and space to the process.
Best home gym on the market for durability, price and functionality!

I have lifted weights for decades. I used to be a fairly heavy lifter and still consider myself more of a weight lifter than the average person. I can tell you that this gym does just about everything you need it to do. If you grow out of this gym you will have already become pretty strong and much larger than when you started. The weight stack goes up to 200 lbs for the chest press which should keep you busy for quite some time. The construction is very solid and it isn’t even hard to assemble. I priced many different types of home gyms; fitness factory, Gold’s and more. None of them offered this much for the price. I highly recommend this product. All you need is a treadmill a rack with dumbbells and you are set.

For what this is, it is a good gym; with a little extra design effort it could be a great one. I am 6’3 and I wish it were just a little bigger – I find that I am always just a little short of a full range of motion. I wish I could reach just a little higher for the lat pulldowns. The handles for the chest press are fine for the press, but their positioning make it impossible to do flys without removing them entirely. The screws are a kind of non-standard size – I’ve looked around for the metric threading with a butterfly end but haven’t been able to find them for less than $4 or $5 each. It would be nice if these handles had thumbscrews or knobs on them to facilitate the quick release/reattachment. As it is, I have to keep an allen wrench handy until I find the right screws. There is a removable angled armrest for “preacher bar curls”. I’d love to see one that is fully vertical – with that I could put a chair in front of it facing the weight stack, rest my chest on it, and be able to use the chest press handles for horizontal rows. Overall, though, for the money it is very good. All the parts were there and well labeled – the only damage was the “MARCY” decal on the front, which doesn’t matter to me.
Work to set up, but very nice

You can do a lot with this machine, but it can be a little fiddly to set up. It took so long, I regretted not convincing my roommate we could just do

This gym is nearly perfect for our family. I agree it would be nice if the weights were more industrial rather than plastic covered cement, however it gets the job done. Took a few hours for my 12yo and me to put together. I’m a 5’3″ F and haven’t had any issues with size of equipment. We shortened the chain used for the pull down bar to make those exercises more challenging. Overall, this is an excellent product.

Well built, from heavy materials. The system is more heavy duty than some that cost more. Assembly was a little tougher than expected, but when the diagrams failed, I was able to look at the exploded view in the parts list to figure out what to do. So far I am enjoying the system more than the others I have owned!
