The 12lbs-80lbs models max weight capacity is the weight purchased. The 100lbs-140lbs max weight would be 140lbs. Empty pockets can be filled by purchasing weights later on to fill the weight vest if needed. The Cross101 Adjustable Camouflage Weighted Vest is a great way to add resistance to your workout. This is a great vest to start your cross training, strength training, and anything else you will need a weight vest for. The vest is one size fits most. The weights comes included. It also comes with a one manufactures warranty that covers the vest.Due to the weight of the item, this item can only be shipped to US domestic addresses to prevent damaged to the item during transit.

This thing is awesome. However I am so glad I bought it with pads otherwise it will destroy your shoulders. NOT made for running which I kinda had hoped I could figure out. I just lightly jog with it, but it for sure is not ideal for running. it be nicer if it had two separate straps but for the price and the way it is built I am 100% happy. I recommended it already to my friends. I work out excessively and this is great way to get more strength training into my routine.
Excellent weighted vest
Excellent weighted vest. I got the 60lb version to do 3-8 mile marches with and it works great. I don’t see running in this thing as it tends to bounce a little and would probably beat you up a bit. That being said, if you’re looking for a good vest to do fast past hiking/marching in this works perfect and you’ll certainly get a good cardio workout…not to mention shoulder/ab/back workout as well.
Great weight vest
Great weight vest! Each of the 10 sandbags weighs 4 pounds so you can easily adjust weight to vary the workload. I weighed myself with it on and it came to 42 pounds of added resistance fully loaded. I have been using for weighted pull ups and wearing while doing lunges and leg work with my kettlebell. Highly recommend!
I wore this for Murph this past Memorial Day and it did amazingly. It fit great and I didn’t have any discomfort. The qualify is top notch.
Highly adjustable and well made!
I am just under 5′ tall and was worried this would be too large. All the adjustability makes it fit just fine, and the added shoulder padding is great. I bought this to help with osteopenia and hope the walls and jousekeeeping while wearing it strengthens my bones. I also like that the weight can be tapered down for days I am not up for the full 20lbs.
Awesome quality, comfortable and easy to change the weights
This thing is a beast. If you are serious about training, this vest does it! Awesome quality, comfortable and easy to change the weights.
Day 1, amazing! I bought this to work up to doing a 1-armed pullup. 80lbs is a bit too heavy for me, as I’m only able to do 3 pullups. But it’s great that I can easily work my way up. I bought and cut up extra large pool noodles to pad the shoulders, and got some heavy-duty elastic for the waist area. Getting it as snug as possible makes running with this a breeze. We’ll see how long it lasts.
Going to CRUSH my PFT.
Preparing to leave for USMC Officer Candidacy School, I want to be in the best possible shape to succeed. I use this vest primarily for push ups, pull ups, and hiking and have seen great progress. At 40 lbs., I wouldn’t recommend running with this vest much unless you’d like future knee issues!
I’d opt for the pads because something is better than nothing
I purchased this vest to increase the difficulty of the TRX Force program I’m working through. I purchased the 50lbs vest with “shoulder straps.” I put shoulder straps in quotation because they are about an 1/8 in piece of vest material that you Velcro around the shoulder area, it helps, but it doesn’t totally remove strain or discomfort from your shoulders. I’d opt for the pads because something is better than nothing. I don’t think there is a way to completely remove discomfort from a vest this heavy, just ignore it and keep working out. If the shoulder discomfort is too bad, buy some foam padding and duct tape them around the shoulders. The “weights” are little 2.5lbs bags of iron ore. You can fit two bag per pocket but the second one sticks out a bit. The flap that covers all the pockets keeps the bags fairly secure, so I don’t anticipate a problem with anything falling out. The cross straps are easily adjustable and hold securely. Everything held firm and in place during burpees and jump squats. I’m sure you could run with this vest, but please don’t. It’s very hard on your knees and back.
Well thought out design
Seller was awesome. Fyi- this will ship in 2 packages so don’t freak out when you don’t get everything all at once. One of my packages was damaged and the seller handled the issue wonderfully. Great communication.
