I spent a lot of time reading reviews trying to weigh out the pros and cons and of course cost was very important. I really wanted a machine that was mobile (but not folding), quiet and electric slope. I have been going to the gym less but because of my experience on the gym ellipticals I was spoiled with a very solid machine. The box was huge, so make sure they place it where you want to set up. Putting the elliptical together was very easy and the directions were very easy to use. It took my husband and I approximately 1 hour to put together. I like the fact that we can pick up the rear and easily move where we want in the house as there are wheels in front. The face of the machine was very nice and easy to understand when picking programs, intensity, resistance…ext. The machine has the ability to set 4 different profiles (name, weight, height, gender, ext), which is nice because I am on a completely different exerciser than my husband. My husband did not anticipate on using but he loves it. It is so quite and solid you never feel a sway in the machine and the stride is perfect for me (I’m 5’6″ 145 and husband is 6’0″ 175). It has the ability to plug in to ipod and usb port, I haven’t used them yet but a cool feature. I love the fan, which is also quite and does such a good job at keeping you cool. I am very pleased with this purchase, no regrets! Excellent price for the quality of the machine. Again, I make my purchases based on reviews and so I hope this helps with your search in purchasing an elliptical.

I’m very pleased with this elliptical. It operates very smoothly and quietly, and it offers plenty of features that make your workout as easy or challenging as you wish. I took notes from the time it arrived so it would hopefully help potential buyers of this model know what to expect.

Great value if all you want is a smooth operating elliptical. I run it in manual and it provides a great workout.

The machine was delivered into my front room on schedule. Heavier than expected…managed to get all the parts to our 2nd floor exercise room. The instructions were easy to follow and I had it assembled in a few hours. Having not done any running since 1971 when I ran 5 miles every day, I started out slow and for only a few minutes ( I am 69 yr. old guy with arthritic left knee). Having used it for 2 months now I have to say that my left knee is doing better using this elliptical. The motions of working on this machine are low stress on my knees allowing me to work longer. However, using this machine for only two months I am experiencing a recurring clunk noise in the flywheel assembly. Called Nautilus tech support. They were very helpful in setting up a visit from a service tech and sending out a replacement part. Waiting to see how long it takes for both to arrive!

My initial thoughts are this is a solid machine. It took me exactly 1 1/2 hours to assemble going slow and all by myself with the included tools (I did use a rubber mallet on the arm pieces where they connect to the foot piece, and the mid level roller pin).The machine is a gift for my wife and it did not disappoint.

We bought this needing to have something to work out with as my wife and I have been packing on the pounds since getting married a little over 2 years ago. It came at the time it was suppose to for delivery. Nothing was broken and it took about 2 hours to put together. I have tried it a couple times. It really is being used by my wife now. I’m lazy. LOL! Anyhow we both find it very sturdy and love the automatic incline on this as well as all the resistance levels. The speakers are decent sounding and the fan is a nice touch for cooling down after a hard work out. I will say like other posters that the onboard computer seems to be a little off calculating distance and calories burned. Either way this was a great buy for $700 and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for mid-level elliptical machine to exercise with.
