Wide enough, comfortable, great price, decent colors, proper length on the laces

I have wide feet that make it difficult for me to find sneakers, skates, dress shoes or any other footwear. I was reluctant to give up my 3 year old New Balance kicks that I used primarily for the gym but they were shot and 18 months overdue for replacement. I went to Dick’s Sporting Good and they had one pair that fit but they cost $139 and I’m not paying that much money for gym shoes.
they hold up nicely and very comfortably

I am a large guy, I weigh 350+ lbs. I stand 10 hours a day at work and walk nearly 8 miles daily while I am there. New shoes after a month wear out in my workplace. Between my size and the amount of use and wear these Sketchers get, they hold up nicely and very comfortably. I have tried other more expensive shoes, and adding shoe inserts, the gels, the $50 molded inserts from the kiosk in walmart, They help for some time, but after a month I either have to buy more inserts, or another pair of shoes. Every 4 months or so the memory foam in these shoes is no longer functional and starts to turn into a powder, and I go online and order another set. I have purchased multiple of these because they seem to last the longest while remaining comfortable. If you are not 6′ 8″ 350 lbs. and dont walk 15,000 steps in a day on hard concrete floors, These shoes will probably last longer.
Skechers are a well made. Great shoe.

Admittedly I dont know my shoes as well as I ought to. However, these have been a Godsend. My feet are fat. Not wide, they are FAT. I blowout the sides of 11’s which are supposedly my shoesize according to measurements. 12’s have been my standard go-to, but even they eventually blow out the sides even on 2E or Wide Width shoes. I ordered these in 4E. EXTRA WIDE. They do feel a little roomy after the memory foam compresses to my feet, but damnit I dont feel like my feet are being surrounded by clamps in them thankfully.
Great shoe overall but memory foam insert doesn’t hold up

Very Comfortable and durable except . . . the memory foam insert is problematic. The memory foam insert breaks down fairly quickly and starts to disintegrate under the foot pressure points such as under the heel and the ball right behind the big toe. And as your foot begins to settle down into the inner sole layers over time the memory foam insert pulls away from the edges. For these reasons I wind up buying a couple pair a year. But because these less than $50 shoes are so comfortable up to that point and look so good I’m willing to do that. Never had a sport shoe fit me as well and feel as comfortable as these do.

This is my 4th pair of these shoes I’ve purchased in 4 years and the first time on Amazon, which was $13 cheaper than where I bought the others.
My dad loves them

Finding shoes for my father in stores is beyond difficult. I never knew until he asked me to start looking for shoes with memory foam that men’s shoes had numbers and letters in the size. He needed a 10.5 4E which is extra wide compared to normal sizing. I would say he’s got the Fred Flintstone feet and I’m not even kidding with that. He had the Sketchers Sport Men’s Afterburn in the past, but after a lot of use he needed a new pear and couldn’t find the same ones again. My dad tried another brand and it just wasn’t working for him and that’s when I began searching Amazon. He had an injury from over 35 years ago that makes it so he can’t stand for longer periods of time without horrible pains in his heals and lower back. It has a Articu-Lyte shock absorbing midsole that delivers lasting support and a memory foam footbed delivers lasting comfort. The shoe is made smooth leather, synthetic and mesh fabric, which makes it lightweight and very breathable. The sole is made of a flexible rubber which provides great traction. WIth being on his feet all day long these work great for him.
My go-to shoe!

These are incredible shoes. I wore New Balance for years until their quality went down the tubes. It took a while to settle on this brand, but I’m sure glad I did! The shoes fit well, are very comfortable, breathable, look great, and stay clean looking with almost no maintenance. I love the memory foam on the inside. It holds up well and feels good around the toes, especially when you first put them on. I wear these all day to work and put on probably 4-6 miles per day walking. The only problem is that the soles wear out in about six months. This seems to be true of virtually all athletic shoes in this price range (at least, that I’ve found), so just be aware. In any case, they are inexpensive enough to replace as needed. I hope Sketchers continues to make these shoes at the same level of quality, because they are my go-to shoe from now on.
