Really love these pods
Really love these pods. Previously I was a BOSU junkie, yet never like storing that 30″ round piece of equipment. With these pods you are actually do more with less. Great for making plank holds unstable, for assisting the neck in floor exercises, adding a challenge of instability to any standing exercise, or with the use of a TRX. They are very sturdy, can be stacked-flat edge to flat edge- for more challenge, and my best equipment purchase this year. I run a suspension gym and am always looking for news ways to make it more fun and challenging. These are doing the job.
No Peas in These Pods
Aside from looking like breast implants from the Hellraiser movie franchise, these pods are actually a lot of fun and very useful. Just squishy enough to make balance difficult, the pods are also relaxing when you use them with bare feet. Odd qualities to coexist. But the kids love them. You can challenge yourself with their placement or stand on them while watching TV or use them beneath your desk when at work. Maybe play balance challenge games with the family. Pretty cool.

I have a very very very active 4 year old, and I homeschool her :). We needed some indoor tools to help burn off some energy while still being able to incorporated these into our physical activity lesson. We balance on them, we make trails with them, we play games with them . . . My 2 year old even joins in the fun and they are great for helping him with his balance.
Just as described.
I need these for balance training and physical therapy and they are nicely sized, albeit a little smaller than I anticipated. The pods are not nearly as “shiny” as they are pictured, but more muted and duller, which is good because they are more rubbery and less slippery.
I broke my leg recently and my physical therapist uses these, so I thought that I would buy some so that I could continue my physical therapy at home. Overall they work exactly as expected. A similar level of resistance and they work roughly the same way. The only complaint that I have is that her’s have less spiky numbs on them. These when you stand on them barefoot dig into your foot unpleasantly. So socks or something similar would be advisable.

My entire family loves this. I set it up in our long hallway for our son to learn how to balance himself when he walks on them but now my husband and I use it too because its so much fun to walk on. I discovered my husband doesn’t have good balance. Whatdayaknow!
The studs are not too sharp for bare feet. Less sharp than those I got from j/fit.
Fun for my toddler and I!
Sturdy but not so full of air that it doesn’t give a little. Great for balance because of that. Great for “Vitamin Texture” (see Katy Bowman at NutritiousMovement for that reference) too!
