These shorts, made from only the finest of fabrics, boast the highest compression to comfort ratio in the industry. The perfectly sized antimicrobial, wicking micro-fleece pad with NeoGel provides superior comfort while cycling yet becomes second skin on the run. The Synergy Tri short is made from 84% nylon and 16% spandex insuring semi compression for optimum performance. It is important that the compression ratio is not full compression, as that is too constrictive for the thigh muscles during the cycling leg. Semi-compression gives support, while not being restrictive. Every seam is flat-lock stitched and the leg gripper is soft and effective, unlike the silicone grippers that can tear up your legs. The NeoGel pad is revolutionary because it provides as much support and comfort as a high end cycling pad, yet it is only 2mm thin and virtually undetectable during the run.

Not perfect, but maybe close enough

Pretty good design and execution of a solid pair of tri shorts. I am in the market for new tri race shorts due to this pair (my current favorite) having just gotten worn out from miles upon miles of swimming biking and running. It’s a problem I’ve experienced with every pair of tri shorts: eventually the backside starts to fade and pull apart. I will probably just get another pair of these but get a size bigger. Here are some thoughts:
My First Triathlon Shorts

I’ve decided to attempt a sprint triathlon and needed some TRI shorts. Maybe all this Rio Olympic stuff going on now has inspired me . . . I’m 63.
Great TRI specific compression short!

I purchased these for the Xterra triathlon this summer and I was very pleased overall with their performance. I was nervous since some of the other reviews said they run small. I am a medium for Pearl Izumi and have a 31 waist so I went with that. They were a little snug but they are a compression short and well they are supposed to be a little snug. As far as the legs, they felt a little tight when I tried them on but during the event I did not even notice them, in fact I had my best bike split ever. I am not new to triathlon and have other shorts but these out perform every thing else I own. The chamois is more comfortable that other tri specific shorts and dries out quicker. If you are thinking these will replace a regular pair of cycling specific shorts with a good chamois, think again. Tri shorts are designed to dry fast, provide cushion on the bike and not feel like a diaper during the run and these are great for that but they are not your standard cycling shorts. That being said, they are worlds better than a pair of Jammers, believe me I know. Overall I am very happy with these shorts and would recommend them to a friend.
Great Tri Shorts!

I recently completed my first Sprint Triathlon and tried these as my first pair of Tri shorts. I was concerned about a lot of comments/reviews on Tri shorts that mention too much padding or they feel like wearing a diaper during the swim/run portions of the race. When the shorts arrived and I tried them on, my initial concern remained, is this butt padding going to feel awkward? After completing my tri I was very satisfied with the level of comfort these shorts provided on all three portions of the race! The butt padding was not noticeable on the swim/run and provided just enough padding during the bike. The bottoms of each short leg have an elastic band that held them firmly in place and didn’t ride up at all. I would highly recommend these shorts to anyone! Great comfort and quality all at a great price! The logo on the shorts pealed off after first use, but wasn’t concerned about that.
I can’t really figure how these could be any worse than a more expensive version

I can’t give these a 5 star because this is the first pair of tri shorts I have ever worn. I successfully completed my first brick in these. My butt was sore the following day, but it was also my first time on a bike in ages. The extra padding was a welcomed addition, and I didn’t notice or even think about the padding while I was running after my bike ride. These were cheaper than most of the tri shorts out there leading me to buy them, I can’t really figure how these could be any worse than a more expensive version. For a beginner like myself looking to break into the expensive world of triathlons, I was happy to find these. Great short IMO especially for the price.
Great tri-shorts. Dried fast with only a quick towel off between swim and bike. No chafing on bike, comfortable on on the saddle, comfortable on run. Order one (or two) size up … fits snugly.
These are most comfortable tri / bike shorts I have ever had
Resuming triathlon training / racing after 20 year hiatus. These are most comfortable tri / bike shorts I have ever had. No awareness of pad on run. Plenty of padding for up to 27 mile bike. Have not been swim training in them. 6″1″ and 195 ordered Large and seems good. Would / will purchase again – really do not like the Tyr foam pad style tri shorts I have in drawer after wearing these.
