Fits even big boys
Bought these in 2 XL, and they fit perfectly. I have a 40 waist at 260 LBs, so I’m a big boy, but they fit fine. There’s probably enough room to go up to a 41 or 42 waist, but that might be stretching it a bit. They are thin and more like a base layer, not a long john, and I can feel them keeping me cool in a weird way, but warm in another. It’s almost like they slow down your body heat loss, but don’t stop it, and distributes it more evenly. It causes a strange kind of airiness. Therefore, they make a good base layer. I’m using them for lounge pants, too, and they are warmer than expected even in my house which I keep at about 62 in the winter. They are sexy and almost seem like you’re wearing nothing. I would prefer a slightly larger pouch for the boys, but all in all, they are not uncomfortable. Generally I don’t like mesh panels, but the panels in these are pretty soft and they don’t seem to cause prickly irritation like a lot of them do. They do have a slight compression, but allows the junk to hang out a bit, which I like. I don’t like underwear that compresses your manhood along with everything else. The reason I mention the compression aspect is that after wearing these snow-shoeing, I find my legs are not near as tired as they used to be with normal long johns, so the compression really does help physical performance, not to mention that when I do show shoe, it causes me to sweat a lot, and these keep that at bay, too. Stitching seems to be high quality, so the build quality is very good for the money. I will definitely be getting more of these.
Great Buy, Great Quality
I actually waited to write this review so that my son had a chance to wear then for awhile and I laundered them a few times….Here’s the rundown… These things are as good as they claim and hold up well! I bought XL for my son who’s 6’5″ and 176 lbs…. they fit perfectly and are a capri length leg, which is what he wanted. They are made well with double stitched seams and a good material. I bought two pairs… he practices in one pair all week and has been playing three games a week in the other pair under his shorts… with multiple washes in between and they’re still like new!! I’ll be purchasing more!
I have pretty large legs and about 5’7" and these fit well
I have pretty large legs and about 5’7″ and these fit well. The only disappointing thing is the the groin area and other parts are like a mesh material so I wore compression shorts underneath since i don’t wear shorts over these. If you are using as a layer underneath shorts then you don’t have to worry about that. They are thin but kept me pretty warm. Haven’t had them long enough for any insights on durability. But over all comfy
My new favorite pair of compression pants. They work similarly to under armour, I can’t tell the difference between the two materials, and they seem to have the same amount of elasticity.
These were bought for the cold Chicago winters, to be worn as long underwear. They are perfect for this. Or for wearing as pajamas. Or for wearing under shorts at the gym. I like the many colors they come in. I was sick of wearing black.
Works as advertised. Wear it to outdoor practices in the winter and makes a world of difference.
