THE TRUTH OF MASK 3.0

I have the 2.o version and was wondering when the next version was coming…I mastered the highest level of the 2.0….but this 3.0- all I can say is whew! What a challenge! This new hardest level makes you work for oxygen during exertion. One tip is to put Vaseline around the bridge of nose and areas mask edges is…or you will mark your face up from the vacuum effect when sucking air. Take deep breaths inhaling through the nose, and exhale out with the mouth. Its a great tool to practice combat breathing under stress…I like to jump rope with it on driveway outside when I gotta get a quick workout in…or run/jump rope in place between weightlifting sets, in gym with as a non stop circuit workout. Great product if you want to dare yourself to the edge with challenge…love the new look, design, and all black look. I rarely train without it. Not for everyone…but perfect for the right sector-Warriors. It makes people that want to feel comfortable all the time feel uncomfortable around you- so keep that in mind…if you care what the crowd thinks…this isn’t for you. It freaks some out cause its different than traditional exercise. But to control/master the orchestra, the conductor turns his back on the crowd. Be like the sheep, or be a beast…your choice. Its ok what you decide to become…just remember it takes a beast to fight a beast…and sheep are prey…and expect a beast to protect from beasts…lol funny hugh?
Top Quality, 3.0 Seems Very Durable

I must admit I was a little nervous about getting a TrainingMask 3.0 after seeing a few of the reviews on the sleeve. Quality was important to me as was safety, so from my point of view it was safest to buy one from the actual Training Mask then one of the cheaper knockoffs. That being said, it was still 90 bucks and while I wanted the real thing, I was nervous about some of the reviews on the sleeve. I was thinking about getting one for a while now, and finally decided to purchase one. So, before I purchased on Amazon, I called the company to ask some questions. They told me that the new 3.0s had a new and improved sleeve and assured me I would not be disappointed. Well we have all heard that before. But, when I opened it up and worked out with it, I was surprised how light it was and how durable it is. I tried stretching it and all that to see how strong it was and while it was pliable, it was also strong and tight. I love my 2.0, and the new sleeve on this 3.0 is the same cut, but its light and my face is not dripping with sweat after hitting a hard workout. But even if it does rip or whatever, they give you a 1-year warranty on the sleeve itself if you fill out your registration, so it was worth it. The mask works great and I’m glad I finally decided to get the 3.0.
You may need a head strap

The measurements on the website resulted in a fit that must be too large for my head. The sleeve would slide down the back of my skull and pull down on my ears, causing them to fold. Periodic adjustment was necessary while running to prevent air from escaping. I then ordered a sleeve that’s one size smaller but it was so tight that the pressure hurt my face and it still folded my ears.
Start Low and Go Slow

I bought this for a friend that’s training for her first marathon. She’s used it twice so far in running and in conditioning (Body Pump). She said it definitely helped and will continue to use it. Here are her thoughts: “When wearing it I was more aware and cautious of my breathing. The second time I wore it I ran the first 3 miles on half the setting again and ran the last mile on the hardest. I would not encourage anyone who does not exercise regularly to start in the middle. My recommendation – start low and go slow. It’s a great device and I would encourage anyone who wants to take training to another level to try one.”

I am new to running marathons. I am by far not a “runner”. I have spoken to quite a few runners that recommended this product, so I thought I would give it a try. For one, it is true to size. Secondly, as I use it more, the more impact it has on my endurance. I am running my second marathon in a couple weeks and I cannot wait to see the difference this mask makes with my endurance and time. I highly recommend this product to other consumers!
it wasn’t bad. There are air levels that I could change …
Fits on my face perfectly. It covers around my nose and mouth well that air only goes through the intended area. At first, it is hard to deal with small amount of air but once I got used to it, it wasn’t bad. There are air levels that I could change which can make regular exercise very hard. At the first, it’s little hard to put the sleeve on the device but was doable when I got used to it. Nothing to complain about
Just got my 3.0 and I am super excited. Was a little nervous about some of the stuff I heard about the sleeve, but the reviews on the other 3.0 looking things were about the same on their sleeves. I have never owned a breathing mask before, so I guess I didn’t know what to expect. I worked out with it a few times so far and the new upgraded sleeve seems pretty strong and it fits good too. I can tell you one thing though, it’s a tougher workout for sure so start slow. I got a little too ambitious and tried hitting it hard at like level 5 and struggled. The dial thing makes it easy to back it down though if you start to get a little winded, and when I recouped a little bit I just dialed up a little more to finish the workouts. Overall, I’m happy with the mask, and look forward to seeing if my 5k time gets better.
