Great piece of equipment!

Great piece of equipment! I’ve had a lot of different pull up and dip stations in my home gym over the years. Dip stations can be problematic due to the distance between the handles. This one is perfect! The handles are angled slightly so you can adjust how far apart you want your hands. It’s tall enough that you won’t need to bend your knees excessively to use it. I’m 5’10”, and I can keep my legs almost straight when using it. The quality is excellent. Very sturdy and solid, nearly gym quality. I researched a lot of different dip stations before settling on this one. For the price you can’t get a better dip station, and you can pay more for a lot less. If you’re looking for a high quality dip station for a low price, this is the one.

Solid and great value

For the money, I haven’t found a dip station that comes close to this one. I almost spent over twice as much on a Body Solid station, but this one seems totally solid for my 170 lb 6ft frame. The main difference I see on this one vs the Body Solid is that the Body Solid’s handles are welded to the frame vs XMark are bolted. However, the XMark feels totally solid. Highly recommend and will update if anything changes.

easy assembly and the hardware is beefy like the stand

Heavy duty, I weigh 235 and wear 40 lb vest with no issues. Arrived quickly, easy assembly and the hardware is beefy like the stand. Like having two sides with handles at different widths. Great deal for $117 with no shipping cost.

Fantastic.

I’ve been putting off getting a dip station for a long time. My favorite upper body press movement to boot. I’m a former competitive powerlifer and Olympic lifter so I’m more than familiar with equipment. Most stations were either: 1) too expensive or 2) too cheap and flimsy. Not this one. It is not only affordable, it is a TANK. Tapered handles allow closer/wider grip, height is more than optimal for me (5’7″), in fact I have to use the center brace to step up. Should be more than adequate for some at 72 inches height. I can-and do-use an additional 100+ lbs added weight to my 180-lbs so it will hold what most people need. Highly recommend.

Excellent dip stand, especially for the price

After assembling and using the product, I can confirm it is well worth the price. It’s comparable to units selling at Amazon for over $200 not including shipping, and this was only $118 including shipping. Do not compare this to portable units or dip bars that are added as an afterthought to so-called ‘power tower’ products. This is a proper sturdy stand-alone dip bar. Pair this with a good proper pullup bar or rings, either standalone or ceiling mounted, and you have a complete gym. Of particular note with this unit is the diameter of the grip. It’s slightly larger than most other units selling at Amazon, and even smaller hands will appreciate the difference. The foam padding is comfortable to use but not so cushy that you will have issues with proprioception or feel disconnected from the bar. The height is another great feature as it allows you to maintain a proper hollow position, keeping your legs mostly straight, or add weight via a hip belt and plates if you choose. I would add weight by hooking a kettlebell on my feet or perhaps using a vest, but the belt and plate option can sometimes be easier to find and many people are accustomed to that method.

Wow! An incredibly well made dip station for a very, very good price. Solid as a rock.

I’ve used dip bars in gyms both at work and a local Gold’s. They are a great tool, and having one at home is something I’ve always wanted. I’d been looking at various models for years, but never committed due to uncertainties about the product. Reviews were never consistently positive. Once I stumbled on to the XMark I found a video online and decided to try it out. In the video compared to all of the other potential versions on Amazon, the XMark looked more stable. I have to say that when the package arrived, even before opening the box, I knew I probably made the right decision. The unit was packed very well in a nice box, similar to what you would get buying from a sports equipment store. The unboxing was easy, as was the assembly. As I was assembling the product I was impressed with the solid feel of all the individual parts. Once assembled the dip station was rock solid. For the price this dip station is an incredible value. There is a lot of steel here, and it is made to last. I own a few pieces of Nautilus brand equipment and this dip station is every bit as strong as my other pieces. The gray matches our Pacemaster treadmill perfectly.

Excellent dip stand. Very stable and stout. Very close to commercial quality. Perfect height and able to handle body weight + a chain of plates. If I had to attempt to find a con…it would be the finish. When compaired to my Body Solid brand equip doesn’t seem as nice. But it didnt cost as much either.

Awesome dip bench

Awesome dip bench. Half the price of my Body-solid equipment which I love and have owned for over 20 years and would have bought otherwise except for the (price).
