Nice roller for travel

 on October 5, 2016
By K. Denyse
This is a good travel size for stretching. It is on the softer side, so when i am starting my stretches, and I am full of knots (I have dystonia), I start with this one so that the pain level is not unbearable. There is a great stretch with this roller, and if you are new to rolling, this is a place to start. It is not long enough to put your spine on for exercises in the short length, so be sure to look at length if you need a roller for exercises. The softer rollers, such as this one, are good for roller exercises because they don’t grind into your back requiring a towel after three minutes like the firm roller do. This states high density, but this is a foam (bubbly) material, and so is softer than the solid materials that the bumby rollers are made out of.

Foam rolling is very important

One time I talked about how important it is to foam roll on a date and they weren’t very impressed. Just trying to be helpful. I am very single.

Does its job!!

I loved the price but I don’t love these things. They HURT. I’m no wimp, but I detest foam rollers and the massive amount of pain they put me through. That being said, this one sure does its job. You can put all your weight on it and slowly roll up and down on it, and it will never stop hurting. But your muscles will thank you, even while you cry on the floor wondering why you hate yourself enough to do this to yourself. It’s worth it in the end, your flexibility and mobility will actually not be a complete joke. Just bite down on a stick or something while you do it, and power through. Remember to hydrate after if you end up crying – no need to get a headache after on top of being emotionally and physically exhausted.

High Density, High Quality! Everyone Needs a Foam Roller!

 on February 12, 2017
Purchased a different version of this for myself – bought this one for my Mom. It’s great quality. She is a petite Asian woman (less than 5 feet, just over 100lbs) and has recently suffered from back problems. She was using a tennis ball but now uses this every night and loves it. I also use mine every night – helps with recovery from workouts. I tell everyone they need this in their life!!!

Made of compressed styrofoam

This is made of foam more like the “white” stryofoam packing material that most of us are use to. About yearly I have to buy a new foam roller. My wife uses them so much that eventually the center of the roller starts to give way / collapse. This compressed stryofoam is a bit harder than other rollers that we have bought, and so far it is holding up very well.

I would buy the longer one next time.

I use this for stretching my back. The diameter if fine but the length I bought is too short. It makes it difficult for me to get back up. When they’re longer you can use your elbows on them for support in getting back up. I’ll probably buy the next size up soon. For now I just roll off of it but that’s a little uncomfortable.

I’ve had these foam rollers before. They are a godsend for active sore bodies. A great “pseudo-chiropractor”

This foam roller is as described and it works good for me

 on October 11, 2017
This foam roller is as described and it works good for me. I am a 6 foot male 205 lbs and it is a good size also. It is pretty hard to lay on but that is what I need. I am happy with it except for it came with a dent in it which I believe they should’ve sent me a different one.

This thing has changed my yoga practice. I use to think rolling out your muscles was unnecessary and a waste of time but I find the opposite is true. Love what it does for my sciatic issues. Even two minutes a day makes a huge difference.
